The start-up accelerator, Algeria Venture, in partnership with the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development, is organizing the largest campaign to raise awareness about entrepreneurship, with the participation of more than 100,000 students, with the aim of consolidating and encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship among students in order to establish their start-up enterprises. A number of topics were raised: establishing a company, Obtaining a start-up label, intellectual property, financing, incubation, acceleration and rapid growth of startups.
After several months of preparation, especially after a framework agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, emerging institutions and micro-enterprises, which would support the creation of startups in the university community, this awareness-raising initiative comes on the occasion of the International Entrepreneurship Week.
Indeed, this initiative aims to urge students to engage in entrepreneurship and innovation and to benefit from the mechanisms provided by the public authorities, in order to respond to the growing needs of the Algerian economy in the field of establishing companies and creating jobs.
