
Eleven people died and 316 others were injured as a result of traffic accidents recorded during the 48 hours in several provinces of the country, according to a statement issued by the Civil Protection Services.
Civil protection agents also intervened during the same period, in order to rescue 11 people who suffocated as a result of inhaling carbon monoxide gas emitted from various heating devices and water heaters inside their homes, in Medea (6 people), Naama (2 people), Tipaza (2 people), M’sila (1 person).
Civil protection also intervened, in order to put out 07 different urban, industrial and fires in the provinces of: Algiers, Blida, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Tiaret and Bechar.
