Boughali: Algeria-South Korea Friendship Committee to be set up soon

The President of the People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali, announced, Monday in Algiers, the inauguration of the Algerian-South Korean Friendship Committee “soon,” stressing that the parliaments of the two countries will work to develop and strengthen bilateral relations at all levels, according to a press release issued by the Council.

The same source indicated that Boughali stressed, upon receiving the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Algeria, Kim Chang-mo, at the council’s headquarters, that the Algerian parliament “will work to develop and strengthen relations with the South Korean parliament at all levels, and the establishment of the Algerian-Korean Friendship Committee will be initiated soon.”

For his part, the South Korean ambassador said that his country is working to “expand parliamentary work between the two institutions of the two countries,” adding that the establishment of the Friendship Committee between the two chambers of parliaments of the two countries “will allow creating greater opportunities for exchange and cooperation.”
