Prime Ministry: Requirement of a health pass to enter and leave the national territory and access public spaces.

 

The Prime Minister decided, today, Saturday, as part of the government’s efforts to protect citizens from the Corona virus (Covid-19), to adopt the vaccination health pass as a condition for entering and leaving the national territory and accessing some spaces, places and buildings of collective use, according to a statement of the Prime Minister’s services .

The statement indicated that the government has adopted “a new measure, by creating a health pass that has already been activated to access stadiums and concert halls, as a condition for entering and leaving the national territory and accessing to some spaces, places and buildings of collective use, where ceremonies, parties and cultural, sports and festive demonstrations take place.”

In a first stage, the statement adds, the health pass concerns stadiums and places for sports events and competitions, sports halls, sports facilities, and swimming pools, as well as spaces and places that host meetings, conferences and seminars.

This procedure also includes cinema halls, theaters, museums, exhibition halls and venues, as well as spaces and places for celebrations and demonstrations of a national and local character, in addition to halls, salons, exhibitions, concert halls and public baths.

In parallel, “arrangements will be made to intensify the vaccination operations of employees and some departments, public bodies and other professions in the service and trade sectors that are supposed to be at the forefront of the demand for vaccination operations, and which are more vulnerable or may be one of the most carriers of infection.”

In this context, the government calls on citizens to “realize the seriousness of the alarming health situation prevailing across the world and the possibility of a new exacerbation of infection, which would expose us to the difficult conditions that our country previously experienced during the third wave of this epidemic.”
