14 people died and 360 injured in traffic accidents in the last 48 hours

14 people were killed and 360 others were injured in traffic accidents across the country during the last 48 hours, according to what was reported, today, Saturday, by the civil protection services.

On the other hand, the same source stated that three (3) people died of asphyxiation by carbon monoxide gas emitted from heating devices, in the province of El-Bayadh (a 39-year-old man and his 38-year-old wife), and the Naama province (a 37-year-old man).

On the other hand – the statement added – two children, aged 8 and 6, died and another person sustained various burns in the province of Ouargla, as a result of the city’s gas explosion, followed by a fire in the Municipality of Ouargla.

With regard to activities related to the prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), during the same period the civil protection units across the national territory carried out 15 awareness-raising operations for the benefit of citizens to remind them of the need to respect the rules of prevention, in addition to carrying out 7 sterilization operations through public and private facilities and structures, as well as residential complexes and streets.
