Strong winds are expected to blow on Tuesday and Wednesday over several provinces in the country

Strong winds will blow, sometimes in gusts, on Tuesday and Wednesday over several provinces in the centre and west of the country, according to a special meteorological bulletin issued by the National Meteorological Office.

The provinces of Tlemcen, Ain Témouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Sidi Bel Abbes, Mascara, Relizane, Tiaret, Saida, Tissemsilt, Ain Defla, Médéa, Blida, Bouira, M’sila and the north of Djelfa have been placed under an “orange” vigilance until Wednesday at 3 p.m.

According to the same source, the winds will blow from the west with a force of 60/70 km/h, sometimes reaching or exceeding 80/90 km/h in gusts.
