3 people died and 181 others were injured in road accidents in several provinces in the last 24 hours, a statement of Civil Protection services said Sunday.
During the same period, the same services ”extinguished 6 different urban fires in the provinces of Algeria, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Tebessa and Tamanrasset with no human losses”.
Civil Protection units of Ain El Defla also intervened at 6 am and 15 minutes following a 3.6-magnitude earthquake located in Ain El Benian municipality, without recording any human and material losses”.
Regarding the activities related to the prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus (covid-19), during the same period, Civil Protection units carried out 39 awareness campaign operations urging citizens to respect the rules of quarantine and social distancing, in addition to carrying out 26 disinfecting operation across public facilities and structures, especially residential complexes and streets.”
