6 people died and 282 injured in traffic accidents in the last 48 hours

Six people died and 282 others sustained injuries of varying degrees as a result of traffic accidents in various regions of the country during the last 48 hours, according to a toll reported today, Saturday, by the civil protection services.

The same source indicated that civil protection agents intervened during the same period to rescue 27 people who had suffocated as a result of inhaling carbon monoxide gas emitted by various heating devices and water heaters inside their homes in several provinces of the country.

In the field of fire prevention, the Civil Protection intervened to extinguish various urban fires in the wilayats of Blida, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Ain Temouchent and El Tarf, fortunately not causing any victims.
