67th anniversary of the outbreak of the Revolution: Belmadi pays tribute to martyrs of the revolution and the sacrifices of the Algerian people

National coach Djamel Belmadi pays tribute to the martyrs of the glorious Algerian revolution, highlighting the courage and bravery of the sons of Algeria, men and women alike, who sacrificed themselves in order to enable us to live in dignity, a sacrifice from which “we derive today our pride and strength in defending national colors and the supreme interest of the country.”

In his message, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 67th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious liberation revolution on the 1st of November 1954, published by the official website of the Algerian Football Federation, “Belmadi paid tribute and appreciation to the martyrs of the revolution and the sacrifices of the Algerian people.”

Belmadi wrote: “On the occasion of this glorious and immortal memory in our hearts and minds, today, I cannot but bow to the spirit of our martyrs, who chose to sacrifice their pure souls and their pure blood in order for Algeria to live free and independent.”

The national coach concluded by saying: “We must observe at every moment, the sacrifices of those who preceded us in the field, to derive from them the strength and will to contribute to building a free and strong Algeria.”
