This week, the Central Authority for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking, affiliated to the General Directorate of National Security, managed to arrest 07 suspects from the provinces of Algiers and El Oued, who are active in the field of illegal trafficking in psychotropic substances in the center and southeast of the country.
The operation, which took place under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor at the Rouiba Court in Algiers, resulted in the seizure of 74,100 psychotropic tablets of 300 mg, 02 tourist vehicles and 01 truck with a trailer.
The suspects were brought before the regional prosecutor of the republic on charges of illegal import, transport, possession and sale of psychotropic substances within the framework of an organized criminal group.
