8 people were killed and 427 others were injured in traffic accidents recorded in several provinces of the country during the last 48 hours, according to a statement issued today, Saturday by the Civil Protection Services.
According to the same source, the heaviest toll was recorded in the province of Chlef, with the death of 02 people.
Meanwhile, the civil protection units transferred the bodies of 08 people after they were recovered from drowning in the sea in Tlemcen (3), Mostaganem (3) and Ain Temouchent (2).
In the same context, the civil protection forces pulled out 03 dead people who drowned in the provinces of Djelfa (1), Boumerdes (1) and Souk Ahras (1).
The units also put out 14 different fires, according to the same services that recorded the burning of 1420 palm trees in Timimoun.
