AADL launches electronic payment of rents

The National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) announced, on Sunday, the launch of the electronic rent payment service for the beneficiaries of housing under the rent-sale formula.

This service is the result of an agreement signed on Sunday between the ALDA and the National Bank of Algeria (BNA) thus facilitating the payment of rents to AADL housing beneficiaries without having to move.

The convention was signed at the headquarters of the Agency by the general manager of the AADL, Faycel Zitouni and that of the BNA, Mohamed Lamine Lebou in the presence of executives of both institutions.

In a statement to the press after the signing ceremony, Mr. Zitouni said that the AADL will launch from this Sunday the e-payment service for the payment of rents via its electronic site, thanks to the interbank card or Edahabia of Algeria Post.

The agreement also provides for the possibility of paying rents through electronic payment terminals at the level of the management offices of the AADL housing estates or via the mobile application of the BNA “WIMPAY” which will be launched in the coming days.

This is a new service in addition to others made available to AADL clients, allowing them to pay their instalments via the internet, Zitouni added.

For his part, the DG of the BNA stressed that this approach is part of the efforts made to simplify banking services and digitize the sector, stating the willingness of the BNA to generalize this type of services to all economic activities.

After the signing of the agreement, a first e-payment operation was carried out on the Agency’s website with explanations of the steps to be followed from recording the invoice number to obtaining the printable and downloadable payment receipt.
