Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced today, Wednesday, that the academic year 2022/2021 will start on October 3 for all phases of the training years.
The ministry indicated in a statement that the resumption of work by professors, employees and workers will be on September 4, and the completion of the final registrations online for new baccalaureate holders will last from 4 to 9 September.
The statement added that the remedial exams and the remaining deliberations and theses for the academic year 2020/2021 and re-registration for students other than the new baccalaureate holders (the second and third years of bachelor’s, second year master’s, higher schools, medical sciences, institutes of applied sciences and technologies, Phd) and the processing of the applications for candidacy for the first year of training in the second phase (Master), will all take place from 4 to 30 September.
According to the same source, the beginning of studies and activities for students of medical sciences registered in the clinical training stage (after the third year) was scheduled on September 4, and the contest for enrollment in the second phase of training at high schools will be organized on September 21, and the start of the studies for the academic year 2022/ 2021 for all phases, including the first, second and third years in medical sciences, will be on October 3.
The ministry indicated that “setting these dates will be decided within the framework protocol for the course of the academic year 2022/2021, which will be communicated to universities.”
