Two people died and five others sustained injuries in a traffic accident that occurred near Reggane (150 km south of Adrar), according to civil protection services.
The accident, which took place on Sunday evening, on the section of National Road No. 6 located at (7 km from the municipality of Reggane), resulted from the collision of two cars, one utilitarian with five people on board, and a tourist car carrying two people, which were traveling in opposite directions.
The same services reported the death of one person and the evacuation of the injured to the emergency Department of the Berkin Hospital, where the second person died.
The competent security services opened an investigation to reveal the circumstances of the accident.
