Agreement to hand over sports structures within reasonable deadlines between Algeria and China

Minister of Youth and Sports, Abderrazak Sebkak, and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Li Inh, agreed on Thursday to take all measures to ensure the delivery of sports structures in the reasonable time, especially with regard to structures destined for exploitation within the framework of the Mediterranean Games to be organized in Oran in 2022, according to the Ministry’s communiqué.

The two parties agreed, “to work to overcome all difficulties that prevent the completion of investment projects entrusted to Chinese government companies, while keeping the channels of communication open to listen and take care of the concerns of the two parties, in a way that serves the interests of both parties and strengthens the bonds of strategic cooperation between the two countries,” according to the same source.

In addition to that, it was also agreed to “take all necessary measures to move forward the frameworks of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of youth and sports, by completing the preparation of a draft memorandum of understanding between the two sides.”

The minister had discussed with His Excellency the Ambassador of People’s Republic of China, various files of joint cooperation between the two countries in youth and sports sector and ways to promote them to higher levels that translate the historical relations between the two countries.
