Air flights for passengers: a supplementary program in summer season, as from today, Wednesday

The Ministry of Transport announced in a statement today, Wednesday,  a supplementary program to enhance the air flights program for travelers during the summer season 2022 towards various international destinations.

“In implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which includes promoting air transport for travelers during the summer season 2022, the Ministry of Transport announces the supplementary program that will enter into force as of August 10,” the statement said.

The new flight promotion program is distributed as follows:

1- On the European network:

Algiers – Istanbul – Algiers: seven (07) more flights to reach (14) flights per week.

Constantine – Istanbul – Constantine: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Annaba – Istanbul – Annaba: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Oran – Istanbul – Oran: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Vienna – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Lisbon – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers-Frankfurt-Algiers: one (01) more flight per week to reach six (06) flights per week, including two (02) flights for “Tassili” Airlines.

2- On the Maghreb and Middle East network:

Algiers- Tunisia – Algiers: seven (07) more flights per week to reach (14) flights per week.

Algiers – Doha – Algiers: two (02) more flights per week.

3- On the African network:

Algiers – Abidjan – Algiers: reopening with (01) flights per week.

 Algiers – Ouagadougou – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Niamey – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Bamako – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Libreville – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Dakar – Algeria: one (01) more flight per week to reach three (03) flights per week.

Finally, the statement indicated that the President of the Republic also ordered the opening of airlines to South Africa, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and the Republic of the Congo.
