The Arab League Ministerial Council decided on Wednesday to form a contact group that includes: People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Iraq, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Secretary-General of the league.
The contact group is tasked with following up and conducting the necessary consultations with the conflicting Ukrainian and Russian parties in order to help reach a diplomatic solution.
The 157th Ordinary Session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level is held in Cairo, with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, Ramtan Lamamra.
