Algeria-Burkina Faso: 14,000 spectators authorized BY CAF to attend the encounter

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has authorized 14,000 spectators to attend the match Algeria-Burkina Faso, scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Mustapha Tchaker stadium in Blida (17:00), as part of the sixth and last day of Group A of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, said Saturday the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).

“Following the decisions of public authorities, including the instructions of the Prime Minister, on the reopening of sports venues to the public and at the request of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), based on the approval of the Algerian health authorities, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has agreed to the attendance of 14,000 spectators for the match Algeria-Burkina Faso,” says the statement of the FAF.

As a reminder, following the recent experience of CAF interclub competitions and the African qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup, CAF has decided to set new procedure allowing the attendance of spectators in all competitions.

Therefore, any member association wishing to authorize spectators in the stadiums during its home games will have to respect specific conditions required by FIFA/CAF and which the FAF has met with the support of the Algerian authorities.

“In the coming days, the FAF will bring to the attention of the general public the necessary procedures for the acquisition of tickets to the stadium as part of tailored procedures to the requirements of the health authority,” concludes the same source.
