The Director General of Customs, Noureddine Khaldi, received the ambassador of the United States of America in Algeria, Elizabeth Moore Aubin, with whom he discussed ways to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation relations in the customs field, according to a statement of the Directorate General of Customs.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of Algeria Customs on Tuesday and was attended by central executives, focused on “ways to encourage and strengthen cooperation ties of common interest in the field of customs”, the statement said.
The two parties also expressed their readiness to ” examine other areas of joint cooperation between Algerian Customs and the US Customs and Border Protection, mainly in the fileds of training and fight against the various forms of cross-border crime “, the communiqué concluded.
