Algeria has decided, today, to “immediately close” its airspace in the face of all Moroccan aircrafts, civilian and military alike, as well as aircrafts with Moroccan registration numbers, as from today, Wednesday. The decision was taken during the meeting of the High Security Council chaired by the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The meeting of the High Security Council was devoted to the latest “developments at the borders with the Kingdom of Morocco, in view of the continuation of provocations and hostile acts,” the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
