Algeria expressed today, Monday, its deep concern over the developments in the Republic of Sudan, according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad.
Algeria stressed – the statement adds – the need to show a spirit of responsibility and restraint, and to refrain from any actions that would jeopardize the gains achieved by the transitional process in this sisterly country or prejudice the security and safety of citizens.
It also called on all civil and military parties to resort to dialogue in order to solve problems and face up to the security and political challenges besetting the country at this important stage of its contemporary history, based on the references agreed upon in the constitutional document as well as the Juba Peace Agreement to ensure the fulfillment of the legitimate aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
