The same source added that “Algeria extends on this happy occasion its sincere congratulations to the government and all Chadian parties for their great commitment to this process,” noting the “important contribution” of the State of Qatar, which has hosted and facilitated the talks during the last five months.

The ministry called on “the Chadian actors to make this agreement a success and to turn once and for all the divisions between brothers and violence in order to work together to promote the implementation of the goals of the current transitional period, especially in the field of stability, development and good governance.”
