Health Minister Abderrahmane Benbouzid met on Wednesday in Algiers with members of the Health Directorate of Algiers and chairpersons of the medical and scientific councils of the capital’s hospitals, to discuss the health map of Algiers in view of the largest anti-covid-19 vaccination campaign scheduled in the next three days.
“It is essential to intensify vaccination campaigns especially with the beginning of the new social year,” he said, explaining that “the national campaign on which the Department of Health focuses will involve the army and national security and Civil Protection units that will intervene through mobile vehicles positioned at the checkpoints.
Mr. Benbouzid continues, “It is still necessary to conduct awareness raising operations during this national campaign, distributing leaflets and posters inside buses, in addition to the media coverage accompanying such an initiative that will surely be successful.
