
President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announced today, Monday in Algiers, that an agreement worth $4 billion will be signed tomorrow, Tuesday, “which will allow to supply Italy with very large quantities of natural gas.”
During a joint press conference with the Italian Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, at the Presidency of the Republic, the President said that “tomorrow, an important agreement will be signed with Occidental, Eni and Total, worth $4 billion, which will allow to supply Italy with very large quantities of natural gas.”
President Tebboune also confirmed what was proposed in the field of electricity, saying: “I renew to my friend President Draghi what we proposed in Italy to be one of Europe’s suppliers of solar and conventional electricity.”
