Industry Minister Ahmed Zeghdar received yesterday, at the headquarters of his ministry, the CEO of the Italian group “Adler”, Mr. Sodiri Rivera, accompanied by experts of the group, to seek investment and partnership opportunities.
Zaghdar stressed Algeria’s willingness to build partnerships with the Italians in many industrial, agricultural and energy fields.
Regarding the industry sector, the Minister highlighted the food, textile and mechanical industries, which constitute opportunities for a fruitful win-win partnership for both parties.
Indeed, the Minister of Industry extended the most striking facilities and advantages of the new investment system for local and foreign investors, as well as the great natural, geographical, economic and human capacities that Algeria has in its hands, allowing it to meet the needs of the local market and the orientation towards exports.
Concernant le secteur industriel, le ministre a évoqué les industries alimentaires, textiles et mécaniques, qui constituent des opportunités pour un partenariat fructueux pour les deux parties, gagnant-gagnant.
For his part, Mr. Sodiri Rivera expressed the will of ADLER to set up large projects in Algeria. Thus, his visit to Algeria was to determine the project or projects that could be the subject of a profitable partnership for both parties in the sector of mechanical spare parts for different types of cars, and with technological support and projects in the textile industry.
With 100 companies in 34 countries worldwide, the Adler complex operates in the automotive, chemical, energy, aviation and food sectors.
