Algeria will participate as a guest of honor with five African countries in the second edition of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Fair, which kicked off on Sunday in Changsha, capital of the central province of Hunan, China.
Algeria, along with Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Senegal, will participate as a guest of honor in this four-day salon under the slogan “A new start, new opportunities and new achievements.”
During the opening ceremony, which was organized through videoconference, Chinese officials stressed the readiness of Chinese institutions to establish economic partnerships with African countries in order to establish a “strong” economic ground that is profitable for both parties.
The officials renewed their will to deepen trade exchanges, calling on African operators to seize the opportunities available in the African market.
According to the organizers, more than 900 institutions from 40 African countries and from China will participate in the exhibition, which includes African products in an area of 94,000 square meters.
