Algeria will participate from Thursday in the 44th edition of the International Tourism Fair to be held in Belgrade (Serbia) until February 26, according to a press release issued by the National Tourism Office (ONT).
This participation is part of “the implementation of the recommendations of the Master Plan of the tourist development for the 2030 and the implementation of the action programme of the sector of tourism and handicraft”, adds the same source.
Algeria’s participation in this international event organised every year in Belgrade will be enhanced by a stand reflecting the diversity of tourism and equipped with all the communication media for the promotion and marketing of the tourism product,” the press release said.
This exhibition is one of the oldest tourism exhibitions in Eastern Europe and the Balkan Peninsula. It is an important event for the promotion of tourism and cultural assets and an opportunity for participating operators to conclude partnership and cooperation agreements.
Algeria participated for the first time in this international fair, in 2014.
