A cooperation in the legal field will be signed tomorrow, Monday between Algeria and Qatar, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Justice.
The signing of this memorandum comes within the framework of a visit by the Qatari Minister of Justice, Masoud bin Muhammad Al-Amiri, to Algeria, starting today, Sunday, according to the same source.
The source added that Al-Amiri’s visit, which runs from January 23 to 26, will be an opportunity for him to “conduct meetings with some senior officials and visit institutions affiliated with the justice sector, archaeological sites and cultural bodies.”
The statement of the Ministry of Justice indicated that this visit falls within the framework of “the well-established brotherly relations and close ties between the leadership and peoples of the two countries, and the common will to strengthen relations of cooperation in the legal field, especially by exchanging expertise and experience, with the aim of raising the level of judicial performance in both countries.”
The Qatari Minister of Justice had arrived earlier at Algiers International Airport, accompanied by a delegation that included executives from the Qatari Ministry of Justice, where he was received by the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Abderrachid Tebbi.
