Algeria Telecom: Experiments to increase internet flow have covered 17 provinces so far

Algeria Telecom announced today, Thursday, that technical experiments of increasing internet flow for 4 Mbps subscribers to 10 Mbps, and 10 Mbps subscribers to 20 Mbps included so far 17 provinces after a week from its initial launch.

The state-owned company indicated in a statement that “a week after the start of the operation, the number of states in which the experiments are currently being conducted has reached 17 states: Algiers, Blida, Chlef, Oran, Tlemcen, Tipaza, Ain Defla, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Relizane, Saida, Mascara, Ain Temouchent, Sidi Bel Abbes, Mostaganem, Medea and Na’ama,” provided that the operation expands to the remaining states “gradually.”

Algiers Telecom had previously clarified that this operation, which comes three months after raising the flow speed for the benefit of more than two million subscribers in March of this year, falls within the “road map” developed by the institution in order to meet “customer’s aspirations regarding the speed of Fixed Internet Streaming.
