Algeria, Tunisia ink 27 cooperation agreements

On the sidelines of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit to Tunisia, Algeria and Tunisia on Wednesday inked 27 cooperation agreements covering several sectors.

The cooperation agreements are related to the sectors of justice, the interior and communities, energy and mines, emerging, small and medium industries, the Pharmaceutical Industries, the environment, religious affairs, education and vocational training, fishing, informatics and culture.

President Tebboune was welcomed upon his arrival in the international airport of Carthage by President Kais Saied and senior Tunisian State officials.

The visit is in line with the actions undertaken by both countries to “further boost the deep relationship of fraternity between the two brother peoples and expand the areas of cooperation to a quality level that meets the common desire of the leaders and the peoples of the two countries,” the presidency of the Republic said Tuesday in a statement.

The talks held by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with his Tunisian counterpart, Mr. Kais Saied, today, Wednesday, at the Carthage Palace in the capital, Tunis, were expanded to include members of the delegations of the two countries.
