
Hamza Yacine, from the Algerian team Team Madar, won the first stage of the Algerian Cycling Tour (ACT-2023) in the final sprint at the finish in M’sila against several competitors podium on a 121 km course.
The first stage of the ACT-2023 is 121 km long between Bordj Bou Arreridj and M’sila, capital of Hodna region.
Ninety-three (93) riders from 16 teams representing 12 countries participated in the 23rd edition of the Algerian Cycling Tour (ACT-2023). Ten stages are scheduled around the cities of Bordj Bou Arreridj, M’Sila, Boussaâda, Biskra, Batna, Sétif, Constantine, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia and Tizi-Ouzou.
The participating countries are France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, the Netherlands, Romania, Eritrea, Iraq, Tunisia, Malaysia, Oman and Algeria (host country).
Algeria is represented by the national team as well as four teams, namely Team Madar, Majd El Guerara, NRDI Dely-Ibrahim and Amel El Malah.
