Algerian Football Federation: The committee of duties’ handover begins its work on Sunday.

The committee of the duties’ handover of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) will begin its duties tomorrow, Sunday, in order to prepare the process between the outgoing president, Kheireddine Zetchi and the new elected president, Charaf-Eddine Amara, as announced by Federation today, Saturday, on its official website.

The committee is made-up of Mohamed Guendouz (President of the Blida Football Association), Mustafa Lokbani (President of the Tlemcen Football Association), and Ahmed Khebbouz (President of the Bordj Bou Arreridj Football Association).

The committee was installed on April 05 during the ordinary general assembly, during which the financial and literary reports for the Olympic term 2017-2021 were approved and committees were set up for nominations, appeals, and the handover and receiving of duties.

The Applications Committee had previously started its work prior to the election of Charaf-Eddine Amara during the General Election Assembly that took place on Thursday, April 15th .

The FAF statement also said: “The committee will prepare all files related to the handover and receiving of duties between Zetchi and Amara.”

According to the same source, the date for this appointment will be determined later by the Secretary-General of the Federation.

Charaf-Eddine Amara was elected as the new president of the Algerian Football Federation, “FAF”, for the Olympic mandate 2021-2024, on Thursday evening, here in Algiers.

Amara’s list – the only candidate – received 75 “yes”  votes against 13 “no” votes out of the 88 votes by members of the Federation’s General Assembly.
