For his involvement in cases that would harm the national interest
The Public Prosecutor at the Sidi M’hamed Court informed public opinion of the opening of a preliminary investigation by the judicial police services against the so-called “K.I”, pursuant to the provisions of Article 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for his involvement in receiving funds from inside and outside, and collecting donations without a license for advertising, by exploiting the headquarters of the “Interface Media” company to operate the unlicensed website “Radio M”, through which it presents to the public publications and leaflets that harm the national interest, through various social media sites.
The statement of the Algerian Judicial Council stated that “a preliminary investigation has been opened against the so-called “K.I” for his involvement in cases that would harm the national interest.”
The statement added that the concerned person was brought before the representative of the Republic at the Algerian Judicial Council, today, and was followed up through judicial investigation procedures on charges of receiving funds and benefits from bodies and persons inside and outside the country, with the aim of carrying out actions that would affect the security of the state and its normal stability, national unity, territorial integrity, security and order, public officials, receiving advertising funds from an external source, displaying to the public publications that are harmful to the national interest and collecting donations without a license
After hearing the concerned, the investigating judge issued an order to place him in temporary detention.
