The Algerian national football team’s flight from Doha, Qatar to Douala, Cameroon, was postponed to Saturday, January 8, after it was scheduled for Thursday, according to a statement of the Algerian Football Federation posted on its official website.
The Federation wrote on its official page: “The national coach, Jamel Belmadi, preferred to give the players an opportunity to better recover after the effort they made during yesterday’s match in the friendly match against Ghana (3-0) in Doha, in order to avoid the additional fatigue associated with the trip.”
The National Football Federation also indicated that the technical staff had scheduled a training session at 14:00 (12:00 Algeria time) for players who did not participate in the Ghana match and the players that were involved in the second half of the Ghana match.
