The 30th edition of the Algerian Production Fair (FPA 2022), which ended on Saturday, recorded a record attendance with 300,000 visitors registered throughout the event, a statement from the Algerian Fairs and Exports Company said on Saturday.
“The FPA recorded a large influx of the general public who discovered the latest Algerian products in the various sectors represented and showed a particular interest in military economic enterprises, but also benefited from the direct sales space which coincided with the promotions at the end of year,” the statement said.
Inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this economic event has attracted the interest of many economic operators in the public and private sectors. The number of participants reached more than 600 exhibitors, said the same source, highlighting “the great interest” granted by operators, businessmen and the general public to this edition.
The FPA, which ran from December 13 to 24 at the Palais des Expositions (Pins maritimes in Algiers), was marked by the visits of many officials and delegations, such as representatives of diplomatic representations accredited in Algeria, the visit of the Cuban delegation, led by the Deputy Prime Minister, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, as well as the rector of the Great Mosque of Paris who received the delegation order in terms of “Halal” certification from the Ministry of Commerce and the Promotion of exports, the statement concludes.
