Under the slogan “Memory brings us together”, Algeria public television EPTV is organizing today, Saturday, an open day on the National Day of Memory, which coincides with the 76th anniversary of the massacres of 08 May 1945.
The Algerian TV channel Eight has produced a special program to mark this occasion, characterized by diversity of types, contents and forms, and by interaction with the audience through the use of modern information and communication technologies, according to the head of the “Memory Channel” project, Said OULMI.
In the same regard, OULMI revealed that the broadcast is joined with Channel Three News with rich programs of 30 and 45 minutes focusing on “the role of the educational system in simplifying, endearing and communicating historical information,” “the role of scientific research in writing and codifying collective memory.” and “The role of civil society, the media, museums and historical monuments in preserving memory.”
