Six municipalities in Algiers will experience a 24-hour interruption in the supply of drinking water, starting tomorrow, Monday, due to maintenance work, according to a statement issued by the Water and Sanitation Company of Algeria “SEAL” today, Sunday.
This interruption will partially affect the municipalities of Central Algiers, Belouizdad, Sidi M’hamed, Bir Mourad Rais, and will also include the municipalities of Mouradia and Madania.
SEAL attributed this outage to maintenance work at the level of a major production station in the municipality of El Mouradia, which will extend from Monday at 8 am to Tuesday at 8 am.
The company confirmed in its statement that the process of re-supplying drinking water will resume “gradually” after the end of the works.
