Algiers: Two people were killed in a car and motorcycle accident in Zeralda

Two people in their twenties were killed yesterday, Thursday, in an accident between a car and a motorcycle on the Zeralda-Douira highway in Algiers, according to the information officer of Civil Protection Directorate of the province of Algiers.

Lieutenant Khaled ben Khalfallah said that the accident occurred at around 10:44 a.m. after a car collided with a motorcycle on the Zeralda highway in the direction to Douira in the capital.

It resulted in the death, on the spot, of two young men who were on the motorcycle, aged 20 and 26 respectively.

The same source indicated that the bodies of the two victims were transferred by civil protection agents to the mortuary department at Zeralda Hospital.
