Approval of 43 guidelines devoted to 19th edition of Mediterranean Games

The Director-General of the Mediterranean Games (Oran 2022) Salim Iles confirmed today, Friday, that the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games has recently approved 43 guidelines devoted to the 19th edition of the games.

Iles highlighted that 43 guidelines devoted to the Mediterranean Games to be held from 25 June to 5 July 2022 in the capital of the west of the country were approved by the International Committee for the Mediterranean Games including technical guideline transport guideline, medical guideline and media guideline, saying that the current stage is important to enable the Algerian Olympic Committee to send invitations to various committees participating in the Mediterranean Games (Oran 2022).

The Director General of the Mediterranean Games (Oran 2022) revealed that the preparation of the specifications books related to services during the 19th session had been completed, such as transportation and accommodation, the management of the Mediterranean village, the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the anti-doping laboratory, which is about launching a call for tender after it was approved by the Sectoral committee of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Regarding the facilities that will host the various competitions, Salim Iles confirmed that the football stadium, which can accommodate 40000 spectators, is ready and is currently in testing phase while the construction works of water complex and the multi-sports hall have been delayed and are expected to be completed by the end of this year at the latest.
