The Minister of Youth and Sports, Abderrezak Sabkak, congratulated the Algerian national football team after qualifying for the FIFA Arab Cup-2021 finals after beating Qatar 2-1, yesterday evening, Wednesday, at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, for the semi-finals of the current Arab competition in Qatar (November 30-18 December).
The official page of the Ministry of Youth and Sports posted on “Facebook” the minister’s congratulations: “The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Abderrezak Sebkak, extends his sincere congratulations to the desert warriors who brought joy to the hearts of all the Algerian people. Congratulations to all the members of the Algerian national team for this brilliant heroic performance, and thanks are extended to all the contributors from the technical and administrative staff in achieving this wonderful victory. Best wishes of success to our team in the final game with sister Tunisia.”
In light of this result, Youvef Belaïli’s team will meet Tunisia, who qualified at the expense of Egypt (1-0), in the final round meeting scheduled for next Saturday at Al-Bayt Stadium in Doha (16:00 h).
