Arab Twin Cycling Championship 2022: Algeria’s Azzedine Lagab wins the bronze medal

Algerian cyclist Azzedine Lagab won the bronze medal in the individual time trial (Elite) on Wednesday during the fourth day of the Arab Twin Championships (road, mountain bike and Para-cycling) which is being held from December 18 to 26 in the United Arab Emirates.

Lagab (36) crossed the finish line of the 32 km long race in the time of 45m13sec, 38 seconds behind the winner, Emirati Youcef Mirza (44m25sec), while the silver medal went to the Bahraini Ahmed Abdelghani (44m55sec).

The second Algerian present in this Elite individual time trial event, Hamza Mansouri, finished in 5th place with a time of 46m24sec.

At the end of the fourth day of the Arab event, the total of the Algerian harvest amounts to thirteen medals (3 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze).
