The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received today, Sunday, the German ambassador to Algiers, Elizabeth Wolbers. The two sides discussed the Algerian-German strategic partnership in the field of energy, according to a ministry statement.
During this meeting, which took place at the ministry’s headquarters, the two sides discussed the Algerian-German bilateral relations in the field of energy, especially the status of the “Algerian-German strategic partnership in the field of energy,” adds the same source.
In this context, the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the measures implemented with German partners in the field of energy, especially in the field of renewable energies, transition and energy efficiency.
Mr. Arkab highlighted the “excellent Algerian-German relations” and evoked the various areas in which there are opportunities to develop partnerships, especially in the areas of hydrocarbons as well as the development of clean hydrogen and the transfer of technology and knowledge, according to the statement.
