Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, paid a working and inspection visit to the 1st Military Region on Thursday, where he closely examined the latest preparations for the international military competition “Airborne Section 2022”, which will be held in Algeria from August 15 to 27, and also supervised the inauguration of some new infrastructures, indicates the Ministry of National Defense in a press release.
At the start and at the end of the welcome ceremony by the General-Major, Commander of the 1st Military Region, the Chief of Staff of the ANP, accompanied by the General-Major, Commander of the land forces and central directors at the Ministry of National Defense and the ANP General Staff, followed a presentation by General-Major, Commander of the Land Forces, general supervisor of the organization of the international military competition ” Airborne Section 2022″, providing “extensive explanations on the organizational aspects relating to this important sporting event”, notes the press release.
The Army General gave, on this occasion, “a set of instructions to the organizing committee, focusing in particular on the imperative to make available all the necessary human and material resources and to meet all the conditions to be able to ensure the success of this international event”.
Thereafter, he went to the regional complex of military sports in Blida where he attended the last preparation training for the opening ceremony and closely followed all the demonstrations scheduled to, then supervise, at the regional circle of the Army in Blida, the opening to the public of the historical and cultural military fair.
He then supervised, together with the director of national service, the inauguration ceremony of the headquarters of the regional directorate of national service, where he inspected its various departments and offices before supervising, together with the director of social service, the inauguration of the Army garrison circle in Blida, where he visited its various infrastructures.
The Army General insisted, on this occasion, on “the imperative to ensure the safeguarding of this important achievement”.
At the end of the visit, the Army General laid the first stone of the psycho-pedagogical center for children in Blida (1st Military Region), concludes the press release.
