The units of the National Gendarmerie continue on Tuesday their efforts to clear closed roads and facilitate road traffic following the bad weather in several provinces of the country (snow and ice), calling on road users to be vigilant.
The same body departments have warned, via the official “Tariki” application, that difficult traffic is recorded on the RW 45, at the Izaatit village in the Boussellam commune (Sétif), calling on road users to remain vigilant.
At the Djebel El Ouahch bypass towards Constantine, the units of the East-West motorway section intervened at Zighoud Youcef in order to smoothen traffic. The same services called on drivers using the RN 23 in its section linking Laghouat to Tiaret, to reduce speed and avoid sudden braking.
In addition, units of the Gendarmerie warned users of the East-West motorway in the commune of Yellel in Relizane as well as users of the RN 90, of a low visibility lack caused by the fog.
A road accident on the East-West motorway between the Boumerdes and Algiers provinces on the way down from the commune of Larbatache to Algiers caused a traffic slowdown, where the units of the Larbatache motorway section intervened to take the necessary measures to ease the traffic flow.
Roads closed and difficult tracks due to snowfall across several provinces

These are the RN 15 linking the Bouira and Tizi Ouzou provinces, particularly at the pass of Tirourda in the commune of Iferhounen, and the RW 253 linking Bejaia and Tizi Ouzou at the pass of Chellata (commune of Iferhounen).
