Bank of Algeria: Issuance of a new coin worth 100 Algerian dinars and its circulation

A system was issued that includes the issuance and circulation of a coin worth 100 Algerian dinars by the Bank of Algeria, according to the Official Gazette No. 66.

This metallic piece (100 Algerian dinars) of a bi-metallic class consists of a non-oxidizing steel outer ring of a steel gray color and a nickel-copper core inlaid inside this ring of a yellow-pink color.

As for the chemical composition, the core of the metal piece consists of 87 percent copper and 13 percent nickel, and its collar is steel (430).

Regarding the face of the metal piece, the image of the martyr Ali Ammar was printed inside and in the center of the piece against a background of its woven texture.

The name of the martyr Ali Ammar in the national language is also engraved inside the collar on the top of the coin, and the dates of birth 1930 and death 1957 are printed inside the collar on the right and left parts of the coin.

Two stars of equal dimensions were placed above and below the date of birth on the right and the date of death on the left of the coin printed inside the collar.

As for the signs placed on the collar in full letters and in the national language, on the upper side the Bank of Algeria is printed, and the lower side is a dinar printed, separated by a star placed on both sides for the number 100.
