Belabed: Doctors are transferred to educational institutions to vaccinate sector employees

Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed, revealed on Saturday evening, that doctors will move, starting from school entry next Tuesday, to educational institutions so that the sector’s members can receive the vaccine against Coronavirus.

While presiding over a national symposium via the visual lecture technology, Mr. Belabed urged to “continue the process of vaccinating members of the education sector,” noting that “after consulting the first ministry, a coordination work was made with the Ministry of Health, for the movement of doctors, starting from school entry on September 21, 2021, to educational institutions, so that the sector’s affiliates can receive the vaccine in their institutions.”

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had stressed at the last meeting of the Council of Ministers the “need” to vaccinate all employees of the education sector against the Coronavirus before entering school on September 21st.

The vaccination process, which started on August 22, continues as a “substantial” process, with workers, employees and professors in the sector joining their work positions during these days in anticipation of school entry.

The vaccination map for the sector, which was prepared in coordination with the Ministry of Health, includes all the 1433 detection units located at the national level, in addition to 41 labor medicine centers and 16 social services medical centers for education workers.
