Belmadi calls 30 players in preparation for next three friendly matches

The national coach, Djamel Belmadi, revealed a list of 30 players called in preparation of the three friendly matches against Mauritania (June 3 / Tchaker-Blida), Mali (June 6 / Tchaker-Blida), and in Tunisia against the “Eagles of Carthage”, according to the Algerian Federation.

The list of the national coach included the players of the club of Nice, defender Youcef Atal, and midfielder Hicham Boudaoui, who were absent from the last matches of the “Greens” in the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations due to repeated injuries.

The list also included the best African scorer in the French championship, Andy Delort, who returns to the national team after being absent in the Zambia and Botswana matches for the last two rounds of the “Can-2021” qualifiers.

Zinedine Farhat, the striker of the French Nimes club, returned to the national team, after a brilliant path with the “crocodiles” during this season, despite his fall to the second league.

While the midfielder of Milan club, Ismail Bennacer, didn’t join due to a light operation in his foot after an injury he had suffered in previous matches with his Italian team, Milan.

Belmadi invited, for the first time, the goalkeeper of the Olympique de Medea Abderrahmane Medjadel, who will celebrate his 23rd birthday next July.

Meanwile, the national coach will deliver a press conference next Tuesday coinciding with June 1st in Sidi Moussa, in order to address the goals of these friendly matches, and his selection of the relevant elements.
