Full-back Rayan Aït-Nouri (Wolverhampton/England) will be called for the next national football team training, scheduled for March 2023, ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, national coach Djamel Belmadi announced on Sunday.
Belmadi said during a press conference at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa (Algiers) that Aït-Nouri is officially affiliated with the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) which has just received the document confirming the change of sporting nationality from FIFA just three days ago. He is a talented and high quality player whose skills will be seen during the training scheduled for next March,” Belmadi added.
It should be noted that the national selection will begin a preparation training ahead of the friendly matches against Mali, on Wednesday November 16 at the Miloud-Hadefi stadium in Oran (8:30 p.m.), and Sweden, on Saturday 19 of the same month, at Malmo’s Eleda Stadium (8:30 p.m.).
