BEM exams: National Gendarmerie set a special security plan to secure Intermediate School Exams

The National Gendarmerie Command has put in place a special plan to secure Intermediate School Exams (BEM) set to start 15 June, while taking a series of measures to ensure the perimeter security of schools through the reinforcement of control patrols and the facilitation of traffic on the roads surrounding the examination centers, said Sunday a statement from this security body.

“The Command of the National Gendarmerie has put in place a special security plan across the country to secure the perimeters of all schools located in its jurisdiction where will be held, from June 15, 2021, the examinations of the BEM,” and this, through “the deployment of fixed and mobile squads and the increase of control patrols to ease traffic, especially at the level of roads leading to the examination centers,” said the same source.

Minors’ protection units will also be mobilized near the examination centers to assist and raise awareness among candidates in this extraordinary health situation caused by Covid-19 pandemic, which requires the respect of health protocol set up by health authorities, the statement added.

On this occasion, the Command of the National Gendarmerie has sent its best wishes to all candidates, recalling that the Command puts at their disposal all its means of communication (free-call number 1055, Facebook page “Tariki” and website “ppgn.mdn.dz”) to make a report, request information or seek assistance.
