Blida: Solidarity campaign with residents of Tizi Ouzou province

Authorities services of the province of Blida launched today, Wednesday, two solidarity convoys destined to the residents of the province of Tizi Ouzou, after the fires that affected many provinces of the country, according to the province authorities services.

The two solidarity convoys that took off in two phases, according to the Director of Trade, El Hadi Bouzekkar, included mineral water and various foodstuffs that would alleviate the tough conditions experienced by the province after the losses caused by the forests fires.

The spokesman indicated that other convoys will follow in the coming hours and will contain various medical and health supplies needed by the residents of the province.

For its part, the Contractors and Industrialists Club of the Metidja took the initiative to send seven trucks with a trailer loaded with more than 80 tons of various foodstuffs and mineral water, and others carrying pharmaceuticals and mattresses, according to the club’s president, Fathi Amour.

In parallel, Algerian Water Company in Blida mobilized two mobile tanker trucks to participate in the process of extinguishing the flames, which left the province late Monday night towards the province of Tizi Ouzou.

For their part, many citizens and charities rallied after this tragedy to organize solidarity campaigns for the benefit of people of Tizi Ouzou, where they launched many initiatives through social media pages in an image that reflects the spirit of brotherhood and synergy among Algerians.
